Eastside Educational Trust, a non-profit organisation established in 1994 exists to inspire young people through participation in arts programmes that develop their skills and creative thinking. We were tasked with the development of an impactful and fresh redesign, designed by the brilliant Alice Vulliamy, to make the site more vibrant and engaging for teachers and parents.
We aimed to create a website that was impactful by showcasing the brilliant programmes, workshops and events that Eastside organise while ensuring that the website was easy to navigate and use. In addition, we also would look at incorporating a donation feature directly into the website to boost the organisation’s support network.
Here are some of the goals that we had for the website redesign project:

We focussed on showcasing the range of brilliant work that Eastside does throughout the project.
Through WordPress, we also looked at making the website easy to manage moving forward.
As per the design produced by Alice, we began to develop the fresh and modern design into Eastside’s website, developing this on a staging platform so that the live site would not be affected, something that we do for all of our clients.
After working on the base design for the new website, we began to work on developing the donation system for the website which was done with ease and we also customised this to improve user experience while using this crucial area of the website.
As a result, the website now features a stylish and engaging layout which is easy to navigate, keeping website visitors engaged and wanting to know more about what is on offer at Eastside.
