FOLD Deradicalisation needed a website to get their very important message out into the world. FOLD’s aim is to bring back those on the path of extremism through their desistance and disengagement programme as well as their other services.
We were tasked with the design and development of the website in order to launch the campaign into the world. The website needed to be user-friendly and professional but ultimately, needed to allow users to get in touch with the organisation easily if they were in need of support.
Here are some of the goals we had for the project:
The design and development allowed all users to experience a pleasant time using the website.
The contact process needed to be easy so that users could contact the organisation without any barriers.
The topics surrounding radicalisation were discussed in easy to read web content.
The website was designed to not scare visitors away but at the same time, show how serious radicalisation is.
A bespoke, well designed website was built which was easy to use across all devices and screen widths. The website was optimised in terms of loading speed and SEO, meaning that the website ranked highly for keywords and phrases surrounding radicalisation.
The website did not scare visitors away but rather focused on their key messages and how FOLD can bring back those who has fallen down the rabbit hole of extremism while working with the client. At the same time, the topics surrounding radicalisation were discussed through blog articles and also through the service pages that outlined how the organisation can help those who need it.
It was easy to get in touch with the organisation through the contact page where a simple contact form and additional contact details allowed users to contact FOLD without any barriers.
Louis helped me, a total novice, through the entire process, ironing out any issues I had quickly and effectively making the whole experience so easy! His rates are excellent and his follow up service, answering every question and making sure the site continues to run smoothly means I have no problem at all giving him my full recommendation.
It was an honour to be a part of this website creation and although it has since been shut down, it will not be forgotten in the portfolio. We thoroughly enjoyed working with an organisation with such a positive message and were pleased to here that the website served its purpose and did make a impact upon those who were falling down the rabbit hole of radicalisation.
