I am proud to announce that I have been nominated as a 2025 Sole Trader Finalist in the Brentwood Business Awards! Woop woop!

The Brentwood Business Awards are a yearly awards competition for businesses based in Brentwood, Essex and businesses who operate in the Brentwood area. The awards promote the great businesses and people throughout Essex, showcasing the hard work and dedication of these businesses and business owners.

Looking back on previous years…

learning, success and hard work. As a signifier of the business’ success up to 2022 so far, I was incredibly proud to have been selected as a Rising Star Finalist in the 2022 Brentwood Business Awards.

At the time, I quote old Louis, “I honestly was shocked when I saw the email come through saying that I had been selected as one of the three finalists as this is the first award that I have ever applied for, personally or professionally so I am over the moon with a finalist selection. I hadn’t even planned to apply and had little knowledge of the Rising Star award so when I received an email back in May that someone had anonymously nominated me for the award, I knew I had to go for it.”

This finalist selection allowed me to become more renowned in the local area, especially at networking meetings and became a huge trust factor when speaking to potential new clients.

Although I didn’t win on the night, it was a significant milestone in my business and once that I will never forget. At the same time, I knew that I’d be going for the award again in 2023.

2023 Brentwood Business Awards

And just like that, in 2023, I was delighted to have been a Rising Star Winner in the Brentwood Business Awards, which was testament to the hard graft and grit that I have continually striven to work by throughout my years in business so far. It was amazing to receive an award in only the 3rd year of the business and it is one that I still cherish dearly. It was a brilliant testament to the strides that I have continued to make within business and this trophy will be one of many. I’d also like to say that it is great proof that starting your own business can be incredibly beneficial, especially at a young age.

Again through these awards, they have helped my reputation grow and have shown to potential clients that I am the real deal. I feel that with these awards, it has opened up opportunities for me such as being included in the 2025 Generation Entrepreneur Report by Simply Business and The Federation of Small Businesses.

Now that we have 2022 & 2023 out of the way, onto 2025…

2025 Sole Trader Finalist

So yes, I am ecstatic to be a finalist in the Sole Trader category in the 2025 Brentwood Business Awards! It is great to be a finalist alongside Dr Sasha Hall (Hall and Co Educational Psychology Services) & Sue Mills (Curly Cloud Art).

It has been another great year of business so far, one of success and learning that I am very grateful for. Expanding my service offering into other areas of marketing such as marketing automation and Zapier solutions has led to a great impact too.

If you’re looking to save time running your business and free up your resources, take a look at these automation services below.

Once again, a big thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my business journey so far, from friends and family to the businesses who I have worked with to date.

I would like to also thank the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, all the organisers and the sponsors for creating this platform to showcase businesses across Essex. I had the great pleasure of meeting the Brentwood Borough Council as well who are this year’s sponsors of the Sole Trader category.

Bring on the awards night and fingers crossed I come back with the victory!
