VYVfragrance is a two-sister team who share the same passion for creating perfume. Vivienne and Yvonne founded VYVfragrance after deciding to turn their lifelong passion of full time perfume blending with each other and needed a website to turn their passion into a business.
We were tasked with the design and build of their website which would allow the sisters to sell their perfumes online and take payments directly through the website. The website needed to be user-friendly and optimised for consumers so that the website could have a high conversion rate but at the same time, it was essential that the stories and personalities of Viv and Yve were present throughout the website.
Here are some of the goals that we had for the project:
We focused on the fact that the website was user-friendly across all devices to ensure that customers did not experience stress while using the website.
The payment system is fully secure and also has express payments integrated such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
We made sure that the sisters’ personalities were embedded throughout the website.
The checkout process was optimised so that the abandoned cart percentage was reduced.
The website was designed to match the brand’s personality, leading to a bespoke, elegant website for the new business. At the same time, we focused on appealing to a unisex audience and since going live, the website has been received positively by all genders. As per our goals for the project, the website is responsive and well designed across all devices to ensure that all customers can purchase with ease regardless of what device they are using the website on. We then integrated the secure payment system with the website, adding express payments and confirmation emails to both the customer and client.
Louis has been patient with us getting our business website up and running. If anything is beyond our technology knowledge he has reassured us, walked us through and made sure we were au fait with what is required. We are more than happy with his services. VYV is delighted with Louis’ attitude, charming demeanour and the hard work he has afford us. Thank you, Louis.
It was a pleasure to work with Viv and Yve from VYVfragrance and it was great to see the website go live and since the launch, it has received great feedback from returning and new customers. We have continued to work together on the website for further development and also for maintenance where the health, plugins and security of the website have been looked after.
